i think this one probably topped all the other ones i've done in the past. personal best one so far, despite the fact that i still make mistakes here and there. personal feelings? i'm very happy. check it out: [link]

for those of you who like to nitpick: yes, drake's sword is broken. he was having too much fun with hawkins last night and hawkins broke his sword. both literally and figuratively.

actual size is 34"x11". it's huge! (that's what she said!). this was drawn and colored traditionally on four separate pieces of paper taped together, and joined on photoshop after scanning.

the sketching itself took about 6 hours, which was more than what i had expected. stupid drake just wouldn't come out right, so he won an award for being the one that took the longest to sketch. i must have spent at least 2 hours on sketching him alone. the broken sword (and a night with hawkins) was the trophy.

inking was done with nib #102, #104, and a G-pen. Used deleter black ink #4. the inking process itself did not take more than 4 hours.

colored entirely with copics. i must've used every single color i have. i somehow managed to tone down the brightness of bonney's outfit, but apoo is just a hopeless case. that monkey has the worst color scheme in the history of bad color schemes. leave it to oda to pick the most bizarre colors for his characters.

sorry for cutting it in half, but that's the only way this thing could be printed without significantly reducing the size. i will prepare some scotch tape so i can tape the two up if you want me to.
